Every weekend my husband and I meet some of our friends at a restaurant or at home. This week, after enjoying a delicious lunch in Saint Jeannet, a small village in the south of France, we extended the day to Saint Paul de Vence.
We arrived just in time for the sunset. The village offers a splendid view reminding me of Tuscany. (Weeding in tuscany) Warm and contrasting colours.
We joined the ramparts of the village by foot. The Village is surrounded by walkable ramparts offering a panoramic view. The medieval village enjoys an exceptional panorama that extends from the sea to the pre-Alps.

The atmosphere was pleasant and soothing. Along the way, we enjoyed the local Christmas market and the art shops. Moreover, Old stones always well preserved!
Arriving at Saint Paul we first fall on the famous hostel La Colombe d’Or which has hosted a host of artists such as Yves Montand, Chagall, Modigliani, Picasso, or Matisse … and still houses many of their works.
Walking to our favourite local Nougat boutique
The sunset arrived very quickly. We had the privilege to see it from the Medieval streets. Indeed from this gallery, we could see the sun go down. A magical show.
